Marian Lindberg left the full-time practice of law in 2005 to pursue a passion for nature and desire to address the challenges of climate change, over-development, and loss of species diversity. She is Conservation and Communications Specialist with The Nature Conservancy, an international conservation organization that works in over 60 countries, including Brazil, site of her memoir about the mysterious death of a forbear. She is currently at work on a book combining law and investigative reporting about the 1914 court-martial of an Army commander for alleged homosexuality. She lives in New York City and eastern Long Island.
